New Neighbors

Well, we recently had new neighbors move in next door. We went over the other night ti introduce ourselves & the lady seems very nice. Her husband is deployed & she has her daughter & grandson that live with her. They originally lived on main base housing, but because those houses are being torn down & rebuilt, they moved to base housing where we live, which is across the street from base.

It all seemed pretty good & we were happy to finally have neighbors again, but we already have a problem with them. They let their dog out & just let it do its business wherever it pleases, & they do not clean up after it. Of course the only place it likes is our yard. It wouldn't be a big deal if they would just clean up after it. Since they just moved in, we're waiting a little longer before saying anything, in case they plan on putting a fence up for it. If not, we're trying to figure out how to tell them nicely to clean up after the dog. John is afraid that he'll be too mean about it, & I hate confrontations, especially with someone I barely know.

Who knows what will develop out of this. Hopefully they'll just take care of it themselves before it gets to the point of us needing to say something.

I did it!

Well, I finally did it,  I've entered into the wonderful world of blogging!  I had started to do this about a year ago, but it just didn't work out then.  Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with it on a normal basis.  I think this will be a fun way to express myself, & hopefully get feedback from others.  I guess this will be a test to my creativity as well, we shall see what happens!

That's all I've got for now & Breckin is waking up from his nap, hopefully I'll be writing again soon!
