I am so excited about this amazing deal from Shutterfly for bloggers.  They are giving away 50 free photo Christmas cards just for telling others about this deal!  I recently just started using Shutterfly, & I absolutely love them!  I had a photo book made of Breckin & it turned out amazing.  You can also have one made by clicking this link:

I'm also thinking about having a calendar made, here's the link for that:

Trust me, you won't be disappointed with anything you get from them.  There are so many things to choose from & it's so easy & fun to do.  The hardest part for me was deciding which pictures to use! I'm very happy with the quality of the products with Shutterfly, & I love that they store as many pictures as you want them to.

So, back to the Christmas cards!  I have no idea how I'm going to decide which one to use.  There are so many to choose from, but I'm slowly narrowing my choices.  Here's one of my favorites:
Snowflake Wonder

I hope to have it completely decided by the end of the week, then I still have to decide on the right family picture for the card!   I have always wanted to do a photo card & I thought this would be a great year to start since it's Breckin's first Christmas & since we're so far away from our family & friends back in Missouri.  I know everyone will love to receive whichever card we decide on, & they will be so excited to see our picture on it this year!

I'm getting so excited for Christmas this year, & just writing this gets me more in the spirit!  I really hope everyone takes advantage of this amazing deal from Shutterfly, I can't wait to see which designs everyone picks!

Missouri Trip

Well, Breckin & I had a great week in Missouri.  He did really well on the flights there & back, he slept or nursed through most of it.  We flew into Kansas City since it was cheaper than Springfield, & my aunt & uncle picked us up from the airport.  We got to my parents house that evening & it was almost straight to bed for Breckin.  He & I basically had a double time change since it was daylight savings time, plus going to central time, so that was fun to deal with!  We got to spend a lot of time with family while there which was nice & relaxing.  I met up with a good friend for lunch at one of my favorite restaurants, I hadn't seen her since last February so it was great to catch up.  We did lots of shopping with my mom & with John's mom.  Of course the time flew by as it always does, but it was nice to get back home & be with John again.
Everyone with the airline was so nice & helpful on the way there.  We didn't have any problems, & in Atlanta, our gate was just across from the one we landed at so that worked out perfectly, especially since we sat on the runway for 30 minutes just waiting to get to our gate since it was so busy.  The flight home is a completely different story.  The flight from KC to Atl was full so we didn't get a lot of help, but everyone was still as nice as could be.  We landed in Atl on time, & had to take the subway to a different terminal.  We made that just fine & had about 10 minutes before our plane was scheduled to depart.  We got to our gate, along with a handful of other passengers, & our flight had already left.  They told us that it's there policy to close the gate 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time & there was nothing they could do about the fact that it had left.  The man & woman in front of me got very upset, but there was a man behind me who got on his phone, called delta, & had his flight changed to the next one which departed at 4:10, just an hour & a half later.  He told the representative that he had a friend traveling with a baby & wanted to get that flight changed too, then he handed me his phone.  We got everything changed & the rep told me to go to the gate to get my new boarding pass.  After handing the phone back to the man, he told me that he is a delta diamond club member & took me to the sky lounge since it's more comfortable to wait, especially with a baby.  Once we got inside, we parted ways, but I was so grateful for his help.
After relaxing for a bit, it was time to go to my new gate to get my boarding pass.  I got there & the man working there, very rudely let me know that I was put on standby & there were 9 other people in front of me trying to get on the plane.  I asked a few questions, but he was still very rude with each response.  I stood around for 30 minutes, then he announced that the plane had been delayed until 6:35.  I started to panic because I still wasn't guaranteed a seat on that plane & it was starting to get late, & Breckin was very hungry & extremely tired.  The man & woman who were in front of me at the original gate saw me & let me know they went to the customer center & were able to get on the 5:35 flight & showed me where it was.  The agent there was able to book me on that flight & gave me a meal voucher for the airport.  Thank goodness it finally worked out!  The funny thing about all this is that my bag made it on my original flight, I have no idea how it did & I didn't, but I'm just glad it made it!  Needless to say, we were so happy to finally make it home & get to bed!
