Update

Its been awhile since my last post, I've been having a hard time finding the time to write one lately.  John's grandfather passed away on the 18th, so he went back to Missouri for a week.  Breckin & I kept busy while he was gone so it went by pretty fast.  I finally got caught up on all of the books from John's mom.  5 of them were Karen Kingsbury books, & 1 was by Francine Rivers.  I always get sad when I finish their books, I get so drawn in I hate to say goodbye to the characters, lol!

Tomorrow night is when base housing is participating in trick-or-treating, so we're going to get Breckin dressed up & take him around the neighborhood.  We've been told they give away the good candy here, so John & I are excited!  There's nothing wrong with using our 5 month old to benefit ourselves is there?!

On the 6th, Breckin & I are flying to Missouri for  a week.  I'm excited, but also a little nervous to fly with him alone for the first time.  Luckily the trip there & back just have short layovers so it shouldn't be too bad.  I'm praying that our connecting flight is just a gate or two over though since we'll be in Atlanta & that airport is huge!  Oh well, we'll be fine & I'm sure I'll get a great story out of it!  It's cheaper to fly into Kansas City, rather than Springfield, so my aunt & uncle have offered to drive up there & pick me up for my parents since they have an appointment that morning.  I'm so excited to see my family, John's family, & a few friends while I'm there.  It will be a fun week & hopefully I can write about it soon after I get back!

Until next time,

  1. I live 30 minutes south of Atlanta! It's generally pretty simple...very good signs and everything. Just ask the flight attendant if you'll be pulling into the north or south terminal, and find out which terminal your next flight is at. That's the only way it could even be remotely tricky is if it's in different terminals. All the gates are A, B, C, D, etc...and there's a tram that will take you to them that are really fast. No worries!

  2. Thanks, Valerie! I've flown in there a few times & each time have only been a gate or two over from where we landed. I think I'm just making myself nervous since I'll be with Breckin by myself, but I'm sure it'll be fine!
